I know this is random but why did mapleshade have to go to the dark forest, she did not do anything wrong in my eyes, she seems like a female ashfur to me. Ashfur got to go to starclan the book literally said, "All he did was love to much." Mapleshade pretty much did the same thing. Yes I know she broke the warrior code by having kits with a river clan cat, but ashfur threatened his clan mates, tried to kill firestar, and helped the darkforest! For Peat's sake Erin Hunter what goes on in you'r mind when you write these things! I like Erin Hunter and all but still, I guess she wanted a she cat in the dark forest and had to give her the most tr
